Scenario
It follows a group of military superheroes consisting of a human leader, a werewolf, a vampire, Frankenstein’s monster, and a gorgon. Gunn then greenlit the project himself when he became the CEO of DC Studios.

This series has fantastic characters and is extremely creative
I’ve always loved the DC universe, and while I think the DCEU was over-hated, I was very disappointed with several of the DCEU projects. I think when James Gunn says superhero movies and TV have become too generic, that’s the point, right?
I think James Gunn is really going to shake things up and I can’t wait for that
There have been so many superhero movies in the last decade that when people see a new one come out they don’t go to the theater because they think “another superhero movie, gee there’s been too many” since they’re all the same, just a generic action movie (especially the sequels). I also think that because Marvel has been so much more popular, DC has a lot of great characters that have been overlooked (by fans) and I think if everything at DC works out in the next few years, the lesser known characters will be able to do well at the box office as long as they can grab people’s attention and really have a special feel to them.
